NZ Windfarms Announces Chief Executive Appointment

15 April 2024 NZX Announcement For immediate release NZ WINDFARMS LIMITED: ANNOUNCES CHIEF EXECUTIVE APPOINTMENT The Board of NZ Windfarms Limited (NZX Code: NWF) is delighted to announce the appointment of David Prentice to the role of CEO effective immediately. Most recently, David was the inaugural Chief Executive of Manawa Energy and prior to that was Chief Executive and Director of Trustpower and Opus International Consultants. David was also the Chair of the Interim Committee for Climate Change and is currently on the Board of Northpower and Martin Jenkins. He graduated from the University of Edinburgh with a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) degree and a PhD in Engineering. He is a member of the Institute of Directors, a Chartered Professional Engineer and a Fellow of Engineering New Zealand. NZ Windfarms Board Chair Mr Craig Stobo welcomed Mr Prentice's broad energy sector expertise and engineering project development background to NZ Windfarms.
