NZX Energy is a specialist provider of services to the New Zealand electricity market.

Using our expert knowledge and proprietary systems we enable the 24/7 trading, clearing and reconciliation of spot market electricity.

Our other activities include network billing services, risk exposure reporting, customised data provision and expert analysis, and providing targeted training programs on energy market design and operations to a range of New Zealand and international audiences.

Since 2021, NZX is also the auction operator for the NZ ETS Auctions in partnership with European Energy Exchange (EEX).
