Appointment of Chief Financial Officer

MARKET RELEASE SkyCity Entertainment Group Limited (SKC.NZX/SKC.ASX) 16 July 2024 Appointment of Chief Financial Officer Pursuant to NZX Listing Rule 3.20.1(a), SkyCity Entertainment Group Limited (SkyCity) is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Fredricson to the role of Chief Financial Officer (subject to obtaining all necessary regulatory approvals, if any). Mr Fredricson has over 25 years’ experience in the listed energy and infrastructure sectors and the financial services and investment banking sectors across Australasia, Asia and the Pacific Rim. He is a seasoned executive, successful listed company Chief Financial Officer and director, with experience in the areas of finance, equity and debt capital markets, investor relations, strategic business development, disciplined capital allocation, growth and mergers and acquisitions. SkyCity Chief Executive Officer, Jason Walbridge, said “I am pleased to have someone of Peter’s calibre and experience joining the SkyCity team. Peter will play an important role in delivering the company’s strategic plan.” Mr Fredricson was previously Chief Financial Officer of AMP Limited, Acting Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of ASX-listed Oil Search Limited – where he led the company’s successful merger with Santos Limited, Chief Financial Officer at APA Group and Chief Financial Officer of Vector Limited. As Chief Financial Officer of energy infrastructure company APA Group, he was instrumental in arranging extensive financing over an 11-year period to support the growth of the company from an ASX 200 entity into an ASX 50 company. A New Zealander, Mr Fredricson is a Chartered Accountant, holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Auckland and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He will join SkyCity on 5 August 2024 and work through a managed handover with current Chief Financial Officer, Julie Amey, until she leaves SkyCity in September 2024.
