NZ Emissions Trading Scheme (NZ ETS)

NZX in partnership with European Energy Exchange (EEX) manage the NZ ETS Auctions. The NZ ETS is the Government’s key tool for meeting our domestic and international climate change targets. Auctions for New Zealand Units (NZUs) are scheduled quarterly. A NZ Emissions Trading Register Account is required to participate in the auctions.
